When does my 30-Day Money-Back period start?
The 30-Day Money-Back period begins when you make a purchase from us, including your initial system and any additional equipment after your initial purchase. If you would like to return your system, you must notify us before the 30 days expires. Once we send your pre-paid return shipping label, you have an additional seven (7) days to drop the system off at a FedEx location and activate the return shipping process.
If the return shipping label is not activated within that time period, we cannot guarantee your entire refund will be applied.
What if I order additional products six (6) months from now? Will the guarantee still apply?
It will! Every product purchased from us falls under our guarantee. For example, if you purchase some additional sensors to set up yourself six (6) months after your original purchase, you will have 30 days to return the equipment if you so choose.
How do I return my smart home security system?
We will certainly be sad to see you go. If you would like to return your system, please give our Customer Care team a call at (833) 374-8637. We will either send you a prepaid return shipping label or coordinate to have one of our professional installers come back to remove all the equipment (additional charges will apply to uninstall).
Self-Setup: Please package everything up in the original box we sent to you. If you do not have the original box, please make sure all the equipment is packaged in a way it will not get damaged during shipment. Attach the pre-paid FedEx return label to the exterior box, and drop off at your nearest FedEx drop off location.
Professional Installation: Please uninstall all the professionally-installed products. If unsure how to remove something, please contact our Customer Care team at (833) 374-8637 and we will walk you through the process. Place all of your equipment in a box in such a way that it will not get damaged during shipment. Attach the pre-paid FedEx return label to the exterior box, and drop off at your nearest FedEx drop off location.
If you do not want to take down the equipment yourself, we are happy to have one of our professional installers come to your location to help for an additional fee. Please contact our Customer Care team and we will be happy to discuss your options with you.
Do I have to pay for return shipping when returning my system?
Nope! We will provide you a pre-paid return shipping label.
Can I return one/multiple product(s), but keep my system?
You absolutely can! Anytime during the 30-day period after purchase, you are welcome to return any products. We will refund you for that product(s) (minus any discounts that were applied) after we receive them, and, if necessary, adjust your monthly monitoring plan based on your remaining products.
What about the cost of my professional installation? Will I get refunded for that?
If you decide to return your system before your professional installation (and within the 30-Day Money-Back Period), we will refund your entire purchase amount. If you decide to return your system after your professional installation (and within the 30-Day Money Back Period), we will refund all of your equipment back. The cost of the professional installation is non-refundable.
What if I don't feel comfortable taking down and returning all the professionally installed products myself?
We can schedule to have one of our professional installers remove all the installed equipment for an additional fee. Give our Customer Care team a call to schedule that appointment.
How does the free battery replacement program work?
You are automatically enrolled as long as you are a customer. Whenever any of your device's batteries gets low, it triggers a notification. We receive that notification and will ship you a set of replacement batteries for the respective product. Once received, just replace the batteries. Unsure how to?
